The Orthodox Methodist Church

Our founding and core beliefs
The Orthodox Methodist Church was established in April 2023 following a disaffiliation of the Washington St. Church with the United Methodist Church. It is governed by a Board of Directors and our core purpose is to serve as a missionary organization, actively supporting missionaries, mission projects, and evangelists both locally and around the globe. We are committed to spreading the word and living out our faith through tangible action.

Meeting the Need
Since its' founding in 2023, OMC has given over $40,000 to mission projects locally and around the world. From the Food Bank, Humane Society, and Cancer Society to building homes for widows in Africa and training Pastors in Seminaries, we see a need and try to help meet that need.

Our mission: spreading faith and service
The main goal of The Orthodox Methodist Church is to fulfill the Great Commission by actively engaging in missionary work. We aim to support and empower individuals and projects that bring hope and spiritual guidance to communities worldwide. Our focus is on making a meaningful impact, fostering spiritual growth, and demonstrating God's love through service and evangelism. The following persons hold positions in the OMC.
